ILM Development Programme
The ILM are the largest qualifications body for management, leadership, coaching and enterprise with 90,000 learner registrations each year. The ILM partner with individuals and employers across the world to improve leadership and management performance through learning and development.
The Scout Association’s Leadership and Management Training has been recognised as a Development Programme with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). ILM recognition is the benchmark of high quality, bespoke in-house leadership and management training.
How to register?
Update: From September 2019 we will not be accepting new registrations
for the ILM Development Programme scheme. All existing registrations can
continue towards completing their schemes, and a new external
recognition offer will be announced shortly for those yet to register.
What happens after you register?
Once you have completed your Wood Badge, you will need to contact
operations.admin@scouts.org.uk to inform HQ that you have completed your training and have been awarded your Wood Badge on Compass. You will then be sent a certificate showing your completion of the ILM recognised Development Programme.
Get formal recognition by upgrading to a professional membership
On completion of your Managers and Supporters training, interested learners are eligible to join the Institute for Leadership and Development with a professional membership, which includes access to additional benefits e.g. post nominal letters.
