District Commissioner's Day

New and existing District Commissioners are invited to attend support days at Gilwell Park or Baden-Powell House (65 Queen’s Gate), which offer the chance to discuss and share experiences with other volunteers in the same role.

Registration starts at 8:30am, before the main content of the day starts at 9am and finishes at 5:30pm (timings subject to change). Lunch and refreshments are provided. There is no cost to attend the day, although regrettably travel expenses to Gilwell Park or Baden-Powell House are not covered.
Accommodation is available at a number of local hotels, including at Gilwell Park and Baden-Powell House. Unfortunately this is at your own expense (if you need financial assistance please speak with your County/Area/Regional (Scotland) Commissioner).
For room availability at Gilwell Park please contact reception on 020 8498 5300, or visit the website.  Other hotels in the vicinity include two Premier Inns, a Marriot and a Best Western, amongst others.
For room availability at Baden-Powell House, please contact reception on 0207 590 6909 or visit the website.
