Scouting and your career

It's worth explaining when you are trying to recruit new adults into the movement that scout training can be very relevant outside Scouting, and that experience in Scouting could enhance their CVs and help them in applying for jobs.

Scouting is often perceived as only providing benefits to young people, but this is not true. Some 100,000 adults are involved with Scouting in the UK and they, along with young people, have the opportunity to experience new things, learn new skills and develop personally.

The resource below explains how one could include Scouting experiences on a CV when applying for a job.
