Planning a Scouts' Own

Moments to reflect collectively have always been an important part of Scouting. It is important to ensure that these reflection events are truly inclusive and culturally appropriate for everyone.

A Scouts' Own is a gathering of Scouts, which is often theme-based, focusing on personal and spiritual development, devised and presented by young people.

The best Scouts' Own events give young people an opportunity to have fun preparing, presenting and taking part. All Scouts' Own offer opportunities to reflect the faith, beliefs and attitudes of all the individuals within the Group.
